The electrical department is working to install the lights, and the boards will probably be ready by the time this is , published. With the boards in place, a piste sheet will be laid under the ice surface and flooding will commence as soon as the weather turns cold enough. Temporary dressing rooms, which will be heated, have been built in the old rink. A hearty thank you to all those who helped bring the arena to the point where it can be used this year! An organizational meeting of the hockey club was held on Friday, November 17th. Twenty- one hockey players attended and others who were unable to be present have expressed their interest. Plans are under way to raise funds for hockey equipment and it is expected that at least two teams will take to the ice, with Tom Knowles as coach, as soon as it is ready. Several of the hockey players have already been out skating on nearby lakes and with all this enthusiasm we are looking forward to a very successful season. A letter will be sent to parents of all children of eligible age, outlining plans for a Little League. Dan Legros and Len Skakun have both volunteered to coach the kids. eee HH HH HH HH
