‘ One pair, at least, nested at Nukko Lake and on July 4 an adult accompanied by one small young was seen on a muddy beach Another pair at Swamp Lake was still together on July 5. One of them behaved in the familiar, excited manner of a solicitous parent, the other was silent None was recorded west of the Nukko Lake region Lesser Yellowlegs-~Totanus flavipes (Gnelin). Two young on the southernmigration were recorded at Bulkley Lake, July 28, July 30, and at Shafer Lake a flock of seven young was seen on August 7. -Pectoral Sandpiper--Brolia melanotos (Vieillot). At Goose Lake, May 24, a flock of 15 was observed several times in rapid, wheeling flight over this grassy slough. Two autumn transients were flushed at Bulkley Lake, July 31. Baird Sandpiper--Erolia bairdi (Coues). Four adults were seen at close range on a muddy beach of Toboggan Lake, July 13. Undoubtedly these were autumn transients. Least Sandpiper--Erolia minutilla (Vieillot). Autumn transients were recorded as follows: Bulkley Lake, July 27, 2; July 28, 2; duly 31, 4; Francois Lake, August 4, one in company with three semipalmated sandpipérs.
